CSA Workshares
We have a hands-on learning experience available to those who are interested in growing their own food and the local food revolution. By committing one morning a week, 8:30am - 12:00pm (Tues., Wed. or Thurs.), you can work along side our family as we grow and harvest for our CSA members. Besides gaining first-hand experience in small farm production, we will supply you a share of the harvest, the fruit of our labors. We ask that you commit for at least one season. Although families are welcome to participate, this is not necessarily the right program for someone with children under 12, as we will not have time to entertain or supervise, this is very much a work oriented program. Projects change throughout the year, but includes harvesting and produce handling, planting, crop management, greenhouse production, CSA distribution, weed, pest and disease control, and much more.
